In today's episode, Curious George was trying to find out what kind of egg he had found.  Everyone gathered around when it hatched and saw that it had been a turtle egg.  One character said, "Look at that!  A late bloomer!"  I asked Jack what it was that we saw hatching, and he said, "A late booler, daddy!"

Ol' Abrahams and I finished the bottle of Gentleman Jack that I bought not long after Busy Boy Jack was born.  Jack's recent potty training successes served as a reminder that three years had indeed passed since I bought it, so it was a perfect time for the last few sips.

Jack's Birthday Interview: 3 Years Old

Jack's 3rd Birthday

At his first dentist appointment a couple of weeks ago, Jack told the dentist that he wanted a "present party" for his 3rd birthday, but as the day approached Jack's request became an "ice cream cone party," so we invited some family over, opened presents, and had ice cream cones!  I think he got the best of both parties!

Jack's kitchen is all stocked up.... now we're just waiting for him to whip up some spectacular meals!

Aurora's Birthday Party

The second birthday celebration was for little Aurora. Aurora's mom, Sharla, is a good friend of mine from work. We celebrated her 2nd birthday at Bonnie Park and had a terrific time!

Austin's Birthday Party at the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo

At the end of  March, we celebrated a couple of special little birthdays!  The first was Austin.  Austin's mom, Emily, is Nathan's first cousin.  I think that makes Austin and Jack second cousins, right?  We had a great time at the zoo with them!
