Carving Pumpkins

We used our Wishing Star pumpkins to make jack-o-lanterns (and a juliana-o-lantern)! Jack spent much more time working on his pumpkin than I ever would have expected.  In the end, we had three carved pumpkins that seemed to greatly reflect our stage in life right now.

Wishing Star Pumpkin Patch

Wishing Star Pumpkin Patch was a great place to take the kids!  I saw my first ever pig in real life.  It was very fat and sort-of pink.  Jack was most interested in the pig and the dirt hole in the ground near the large jumping area.  And Juliana was excited to get to face the world for the first time while she was carted around in the Baby Bjorn. It was a little windy which didn't blend well with all the dirt, but we still had a great time!  There were animals to look at, a train to ride (Jack wasn't interested), hay to climb on, and pumpkins to pick out.  We'll definitely be going back to Wishing Star!

Sunday at the Park

Jack is wearing the Indiana Jones hat Nathan played with as a child.

Love

I cannot tell you how much joy this little girl brings to our family!
I love her!
